Gira e Respira. Twist & Breathe!

Golia are little Italian lollies. (They taste a bit like licorice.) We used to sell lots and lots of them from the front counter of our Darlinghurst General Store.

The point-of-sale display that the supplier sent us one year was hilarious. It featured a diagram of a single wrapped lolly complete with instructional red arrows demonstrating how you might untwist and open each sweet ... just in case you'd misplaced that skill.

Italians are so thoughtful.
