This design from Douglas Riccardi in 1989 playing on the daggy Roman souvenir genre was particularly popular with graphic designers at the time.

Douglas waived his royalties for this design, opting rather for payment in kind and a rather surreal trade. We sent him a bright purple pig suede fez made by Sydney milliner Mandy Murphy ... complete with gold braided tassles. He still has it.
